Temporary Traffic Signs:

We offer temporary signs in the following options:

  • Self-standing (Sign is fixed onto a collapsible steel frame)
  • Sign fabricated with unistruts fastened on the back that will then be mounted onto a pole
  • Sizes: TW Series 600mm / 900mm /1200mm / 1500mm
  • Sizes: TR Series 600mm / 900mm / 1200mm
  • Visibility Class: I – IV

We manufacture the above according to client specifications, alternatively, we work according to publishes specifications.

Nearly all Traffic Signs can be used as permanent or temporary Traffic signs.

Temporary signs manufactured by SA Road Signs can be ordered as a self-standing collapsible unit or a loose sign fixed to a post or pole.

SA Road Sign Difference:

  • Angle iron frame surrounding the face of the sign to eliminate damage when loading & off-loading
  • Two solid squared footings to provide more stability
  • Lightweight but durable
  • Sizes: 600 / 900/ 1200/ 1500mm
  • Visibility Class I – IV

Permanent Signs

  • Sizes: W Series 600mm / 900mm /1200mm / 1500mm
  • Sizes: R Series 600mm / 900mm / 1200mm
  • Visibility Class: I – IV

We manufacture the above according to client specifications, alternatively, we work according to publishes specifications.

  • Danger Plates: 150x600mm / 200x800mm / 300x1200mm
  • Sharp Curve Chevrons: 450x450mm / 600mmx600mm
  • Route Markers / Km Reference Markers Available in Flat & V-Type

Panel Stack Signs

  • Panel signs are fabricated using 200mm high-profile panels.
    Signs are fabricated according to the Engineers’ specifications.
    Panel signs applicable on Guidance Signs / Tourism Signs / SANRAL Contractors Boards etc

Galvanised Poles & Posts:

  • We offer two types of galvanizing: Hot Dipped Galvanizing and Electro-Plating. Galvanizing ensures that the steel is protected against rust and corrosion.

    Galvanized Square Tubes: 50x50x2mm in Lengths of 2100mm / 2400mm
    Round Tubes are done according to client specifications.
    All our processed poles are drilled to specification and include a top & base plate.

    Galvanised Poles and posts are applicable in the following instances:

    • Warning Signs & Route Markers On National Roads
    • Traffic Signs installed in Towns & Cities

We offer:

  • Electro-Plated or Hot Dipped Galvanising methods
  • Galvanising on Square Tubes & Round Poles
  • Galvanising ensures the longevity of the steel
  • Steel is therefore treated for anti-rust and anti-corrosion
  • Standard Profiles: 50x50x1.6x1800mm / 50x50x1.6x2100mm / 50x50x1.6x2400mm
  • Round Tube Profiles manufactured to clients required specification
  • Includes a top & baseplate also pre-drilled to specification

Danger Plates & Chevrons:

  • Danger Plates: W401 / W402

    SA Road Signs have the capability to manufacture 400-600 danger plates every 72 Hours.

    • Sizes: 150 x 600mm / 200 x 800mm / 300 x 1200mm
    • Substrate: 1.4mm
    • Visibility Class: I – IV

Sharp Curve Chevrons:

  • Sizes: 450 x 450mm / 600 x 600mm
  • Substrate: 1.4mm
  • Visibility Class: I – IV

Accesories

Traffic Cones

Traffic Cones on hand are available in the following:

  • 450mm
  • 750mm
  • 1000mm

Includes Reflective Strip & Rubber Base, we do offer collapsible cones in the same heights.

Delineators

We Offer Delineators in the following sizes:

  • 150 x 600mm
  • 200 x 800mm
  • 1000 x 300mm

All options can be single-sided or double-sided. Bases can be purchased separately or with blades, we stock light, medium & heavy duty bases.
